Dear Prospective Bidder:

The City of Holland (City), represented by the Parks and Recreation Department, is requesting statements of qualifications (RFQ) from experienced professional planning consultants to provide professional services for a comparison of alternative sites for a proposed new recreation center and replacement of or alternatives to Bouws Pool.

      HOLLAND - The overnight parking trial period that began on May 15, 2014 will be wrapping up at the end of this month, on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.    At this point, residents will no-longer be able to park between the hours of 2 AM and 5 AM passenger vehicles, motorcycles and trucks overnight on most City streets.  Parking in areas that the trial period did not affect, or in areas where signage indicates otherwise, will not be changed.

     Beginning October 1, 2014, any vehicle found to be parked on City streets between the hours of 2 AM and 5 AM will be subject to the relevant citations and fines.

HOLLAND – Each year, the City of Holland’s Finance Department produces a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30.  For the past 22 years, the City's CAFR has received annual recognition from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada.

To receive recognition, the City must comply with the highest standards for disclosure and provide pertinent trend information beyond that which is required by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.
