The City of Holland, Michigan Is looking for the ideal person to fill the newly created position of Downtown Manager. The official budgeting process for fiscal year (FY) 2014 began in January when the City Council held the annual "Coffee with Council," followed by its annual retreat in February. From the input and outcomes of those public events, senior City staff (led by City Manager Ryan Cotton) met and discussed budgeting scenarios and suggestions. On April 8, 2013, Ryan Cotton presented a proposed budget to the City Council for its review and discussion (slides and video of that presentation are below).
