Ottawa County Flood Recovery Continues Red Cross Plans Mobile Distribution Route for Ottawa County As the flood water begins to recede in West Michigan, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Management shifts its efforts toward recovery. To assist, the American Red Cross is distributing clean-up kits. Kits include mops, scrub brushes, shovels, and cleaning chemicals along with other items to help people once they are able to return to their homes. Budget and Fiscal Information for Fiscal Year 2014 The official budgeting process for fiscal year (FY) 2014 began in January when the City Council held the annual "Coffee with Council," followed by its annual retreat in February. From the input and outcomes of those public events, senior City staff (led by City Manager Ryan Cotton) met and discussed budgeting scenarios and suggestions.
