Passports

Passport Card and Book

Passport services will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019, due to the Labor Day Holiday.

The Holland City Clerk's office accepts applications for new passports for U.S. citizens Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment necessary. Photo service for passport photos is available in the Clerk's office.

Renewal application forms and passport photos for renewals are available at Holland City Hall, but applicants must mail in their own passport renewal applications (PDF).

Passport Book vs. Passport Card

A Passport Book is valid for travel internationally by air, land or sea. A Passport Card is a limited-use, wallet-size card, good for land and sea travel (not air travel) between the U.S. and:

  • Bermuda
  • Canada
  • Caribbean Region
  • Mexico

The application process and form are the same for both the Passport Book and Passport Card.
