This program is for residential unused or left over chemical, dangerous or flammable products that are not accepted at curbside pickup.

Free household hazardous waste drop off at: Ottawa County Resource Recovery Center, 14053 Quincy Street, Holland MI 49424

 Examples of hazardous waste:

  • Oil-based paints
  • Solvents
  • Pesticides/ Insecticides
  • Mercury thermometers/thermostats,
  • Automotive batteries, 
  • Lithium/cadmium and other rechargeable batteries
  • Used motor oil and etc.
