    09-18-2019 Update -
The Contractor for the Waverly Road Resurfacing project, Rieth-Riley Construction Company, has reopened their asphalt plant in Zeeland and are planning to get started on the project on Monday, September 23rd. Phasing will be somewhat different than originally planned. Please see attached notice "WaverlyNotice09-18-19" for more information. During the 1st phase of the project, the Contractor will be working on the southbound side of Waverly Road from 16th to 32nd. Northbound Waverly Road will remain open during phase 1. Weather permitting, phase 1 work should complete in about a week. Additional phases will continue in a similar way as shown on the attachment.

48th Street, 32nd Street and 16th Street will remain open to east/west traffic throughout the project. We will not be milling/paving through those intersections. We encourage businesses employees and patrons to use side streets for access whenever possible. For those properties that don’t have side street access, the contractor will maintain access to driveways but there may be delays when the construction operation is crossing the driveway.
