The primary purpose of the Ourstreet Program is to stimulate physical improvements to neighborhoods by providing proactive "on the street" assistance to homeowners, landlords and tenants.
A secondary purpose is to serve as a link between property owners/residents of the target neighborhood and the services that could assist them.
Ourstreet serves as a clearinghouse for housing matters, as well as other matters of importance to the neighborhood.
Organization
The Ourstreet Committee, made up of residents of the Target Area, community-at-large, and representatives of other organizations oversee the progress of the program.
Target Area
The Target Area is 13th Street to 19th Street, from Lincoln Avenue to Harrison Avenue.
