Budget and Fiscal Information for Fiscal Year 2014

The official budgeting process for fiscal year (FY) 2014 began in January when the City Council held the annual "Coffee with Council," followed by its annual retreat in February. From the input and outcomes of those public events, senior City staff (led by City Manager Ryan Cotton) met and discussed budgeting scenarios and suggestions. On April 8, 2013, Ryan Cotton presented a proposed budget to the City Council for its review and discussion (slides and video of that presentation are below).

As in years past, the City Council will meet in early April (this year April 8th, and 10th to discuss the proposed FY 14 budget and the City Manager's proposed budget.  City Council will review the FY14 proposed budget at their April 24th Study Session for one final time before the May 1st Public Hearing.  Public is welcome to attend upcoming meetings.  Find meeting current meeting information at the City's online calendar.
