The official budgeting process for fiscal year (FY) 2016 began in January 2015 when the City Council held the annual "Coffee with Council," followed by its annual retreat in January 2015. From the input and outcomes of those public events, the City's Leadership Team, led by City Manager Ryan Cotton, will be meeting to discuss budgeting scenarios and suggestions. In early April 2015, City Manager Cotton will be presenting a proposed budget to the City Council for its review and discussion.
Fiscal Information for Fiscal Year 2015
On May 14, 2014, in adherence to Section 9.5 of the City Charter, the City Council adopted Resolution (R2014.20) approving the City of Holland and the Holland Board of Public Works fiscal year 2015 (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015) budget setting the tax rate at 15.1085 mills.
