As an important part of Holland's Sustainability efforts and the creation of a Community Energy Plan, Mayor Dykstra has formed an Energy Task Force to assist him and the rest of the City Council in the planning an implementation of an energy plan for Holland. This Mayor's Energy Task Force consists of influential leaders in Holland's business, civic, and educational institutions. First meeting on January 5, 2011, the Energy Task Force will re-convene approximately every other month to assess and evaluate the Community Energy Planning process, taking into consideration the thoughts, opinions, and efforts of others involved in this process.
