Thursdays: March 15, April 19 and May 17

                                10:00-11:30 a.m.

                                           or

Fridays: March 16, April 20 and May 18

                                10:00-11:30 a.m.

March- Animal Senses

Knee-highers will learn how animals hear, touch, smell, taste and see through live animals, crafts and activities.  Come guess what is in the "feely bag", experience the smells of nature, and go on a nature hike.

April- Signs of Spring

With longer days and warmer temperatures during the middle of April it will be a good time to look for some signs of spring.  Join us as we take a walk outside, listen to a story, make a craft and get up-close with some animals while learning about our spring season.

May- Who Lives There?

Holes in trees, nests, burrows, bird houses and ponds are all places where animals can find shelter and raise their young.  Come and be a nature detective and look for clues to where animals live here at the nature center.  A story and craft are also planned as well as some dipping in the pond.

Registration will start for the Spring Series of the Knee-high Naturalists Classes on February 17th, 2012. Please call (616) 355-1057 or stop by the nature center to register.
