This is a City of Holland and Board of Public Works project to construct a 3-lane roadway (2 travel lanes plus a turn lane), curb & gutter, sidewalk, and watermain in a portion of the project.
Construction Limits -
East 48th Street from M-40 east to the City Limits.
Phases -
Phase 1 - March 28 - mid-June
Construction will be on 48th St between Waverly Rd and the East City Limits.
Phase 2 - June 27 to August 31
Construction will be on 48th St between M-40 and Waverly Rd. This is the area in front of the old Life Saver's Building.
Please note that these dates are subject to change due to scope of work, weather, or other circumstances.
Detour Routes -
No through traffic will be allowed. Motorists must follow the posted detour.
