Project Information -
This is a City of Holland & Board of Public Works project to update underground utilities, add curb & gutter, add sidewalks to both sides of the road, and repave the roadway.
Construction Limits -
Matt Urban Drive and West 48th Street from Washington to Ottawa Avenues
Start Date -
Construction on this project will begin April 4, 2011 with an anticipated completion date of July 30, 2011.
Completion Date -
Late July, 2011. This project is completed!
Update -
Due to storm water and permitting issues this project was delayed to the 2011 Construction season. Because of storm drainage problems experienced in this area, added design work was needed. Permits from MDOT and the Tulip Intercounty Drain Board have been obtained to allow additional drainage improvements in this area. Some drainage work may be completed in late 2010 with road reconstruction and improvements occuring in 2011.
Detour Routes -
Motorists must follow the posted detour route which will likely be Graafschap Road, W 40th Street and Washington Avenue.
