For a second year, Local First, with support from the City of Holland, will host a Lakeshore Street Party at Washington Square on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This FREE Family Event will include local music, local food and local beer, kids activities, art and more.

In 2013 the City of Holland took the proactive step of combining the Community Development Committee, the Ourstreet Committee and the Neighborhood Advisory Committee into one new committee, called

This program focuses on home repairs for property throughout the city. It is income based and is to assist single family, owner occupied, low income households make home repairs.  The City will pay 1/2 the cost of needed repairs up to $4,000.00.
