At its March 24, 2011 Regular Monthly Meeting, the Human Relations Commission unanimously voted to adopt its Resolution Recommending to the Holland City Council the Amendment of the Human Relations Ordinance, Fair Housing Ordinance, and EEO Policy to Include Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity as Protected Classes.
