IRC seeks community cultural performance group to accompany an official City delegation to travel to our Sister City

The IRC is seeking a cultural performance group interested in performing for our Sister City of Querétaro, Mexico during their 4th Foreign Communities Festival, June 2-5, 2011.

The City of Holland and the City of Santiago de Querétaro have had a very friendly, open, and prosperous Sister City friendship since 1996 with over 80 cultural, educational, governmental, and business exchanges. Be a part of this event which celebrates the foreign citizens living in Querétaro and from close surroundings and share the culture of Holland, Michigan!

Groups who are interested should send a letter of interest to the above contact information. Your submission should include: type of performance (musical, theatre, dance, etc.); length of performance; number of persons travelling; ages of persons travelling; any type of technical assistance needed; contact information and any other information relevant to the group.
• Lodging accommodations, local transportation and meals while in Mexico will be provided by our host Sister City.
• All flight travel arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the group.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Commission and one group will be selected to travel to Mexico June 2-5, 2011 with our official City of Holland delegation. Information must be received by: Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
