Ottawa County Food Distribution Friday, August 22, 2014 for Low-income Families

The following USDA Commodities will be distributed to low-income families in Ottawa County Friday, August 22, 2014.  Please refer to distribution sites and income guidelines below for eligibility requirements.  Commodities include.

Canned Beef Oat Cereal
Corn Cranberry Juice
Dry Egg Mix Shelf-Stable Milk
Noodles Rolled Oats
Pears Salmon
Beef Stew  

 

Commodities are distributed only during the designated hours indicated at each distribution center, unless all commodities are distributed, at which point the site will close.

 Eligible individuals must provde Ottawa County residency to receive The Emergency Food Assistance Program  (TEFAP)commodities.   Individual who receive FIP (the old TANF), or SNAP (the old food stamps) are automatically eligible.  To receive commodities, household income, regardless of age, must not exceed 200% of the poverty level.
