To the Members of the City of Holland's Human Relations Commission:

Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Human Relations Commission is hereby called to be held Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. to be held in the Council Chambers at Holland City Hall, 270 South River Avenue to discuss the following items:

I.      Call to Order.

II.     Consideration of the June 20th regular meeting & July 1st special meeting minutes  (To be presented at the meeting).

III.     Commission Business:
         a. Status Report on Potential Ethnic Intimidation Crime(s).
         b. Vice-Chair Selection.
         c. Status Report on Human Relations Coordinator Position.

IV.    Staff Report:
        a. Requests for Interpretation (June 2013).
        b. Activity Report (June - July 2013).

V.    Committee Reports:
        a. Education/Employment.
        b. Housing/Government Community Relations.

VI.   Public Comment.

VII.  Other Business.

VIII. Adjournment

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: In addition to addressing the Commission during public hearings and under “Public Comment,” members of the Audience may address the Commission, on items after a motion is pending on a particular item, by addressing the Chairperson. Audience participation shall be five minutes or less per item.
