The City of Holland Human Resources Department works with the management team and all employees to promote favorable employee relations and maintain clear and consistent policies in order to provide the highest quality position evaluations, recruiting and employment activity, employee training, safely and loss control , employee appraisals, benefit management, workers compensation administration, labor relations, and numerous related activities.


The City employs over 400 full-time and 300 part-time employees and is an equal opportunity employer. The mission of the Human Resources Department is to provide professional leadership in all areas of the human resources management for the City of Holland.
