2012 Park Party dates/locations announced
Grand Rapids, Mich. March 2, 2012- Thursday, June 21 is when Maranda will be kicking off the 2012 Park Party season, bringing free summer fun to kids and families around West Michigan! All parties take place on Thursdays from noon until 2pm and feature two hours of fun including large scale inflatable activities, mechanical rides, games, continuous stage entertainment and interactive booths hosted by local non-profit organizations. Guests are also treated to free food.
"We know that Park Parties are the highlight of many children's summer vacation, " said Maranda, Child and Family Services Manager for WOOD TV and WOTV 4 Women. "That is why we try to bring new elements to Park Parties each summer to keep our events fun and exciting."
All six parties will feature 2 new inflatable activities! New this year will be a vertical rush slide and a huge obstacle course challenge. Thanks to a special sponsor, Perrigo, children in Hastings, HOLLAND and Allegan will also have the chance to try out a 25ft. zip line!! Party guests in Cedar Springs will be treated to grilled turkey burgers, thanks to Jennie-O Turkey.

June 28 – Lamar Park, Wyoming
July 5 – Barry County Expo Center, Hastings
July 12 – Kollen Park, Holland
July 19 – Northwestern Middle School, Battle Creek
July 26 – Allegan County Fairgrounds, Allegan
All parties are held from Noon to 2 p.m.
