Smallenburg Park, Bouws Pool and the Skate Park are located northeast of 16th Street and Fairbanks Avenue.
Smallenburg Park was named after Dick Smallenburg April 1, 1959. Bouws Pool was named after Russ Bouws. He donated the funds to build the facility in 1973. The pool was opened in 1976.
This is a family oriented park and playground adjoined by the Bouws outdoor community pool and a concrete plaza style skate park.
