Foodservice Licensing

Foodservice licensing

Both State and local laws require that persons providing foodservice to the public, with or without charge, be licensed to provide this service.  Application is required and sometimes plans are also necessary.

This generally refers to foodservice entities such as Restaurants, temporary Foodservice carts, wagons, or tents, and foodservice provided for the pubic by schools, churches, and non-profit groups.  For a full definition of what is a "foodservice Establishment", please refer to the Michigan.gov -  link  http://www.michigan.gov/mdard/0,1607,7-125-1569---,00.html or call MDA 517-241-6666.

All foodservice locations within the City of Holland limits, Allegan county,  are serviced by this office.

For regulations on bakeries, grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, or processing plants contact the MDA 517-241-6666.

Please direct questions to Rick Wyman @ 616-355-1330.
