The Planning Commission Advises city officials in matters of planning and development of the community. Prepares plans and makes recommendations for land-use and the environment. Members of the Planning Commission serve a 3 year term.
The City of Holland Planning Commission conducts its regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 270 South River Avenue. On these meeting dates the Commission holds a Study Session from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and then begins the regular meeting at 5:00 PM. The tentative meeting dates for 2010 are available at the below listed link, although the Commission may from time to time vote to postpone, reschedule, or cancel a meeting. Any postponement, rescheduling, or cancellation of a meeting shall be duly noticed per applicable State and local requirements for open public meetings.
