Code Enforcement Officers are responsible for enforcement of City Codes dealing with parking, animal and bicycle investigations. They also assists Officers with traffic control and criminal investigations. Code Enforcement also includes patroling and enforcing city Parks ordinances.

Enforcement is via written citations and warrants. Animal complaints include:

• loose dogs
• leash law violations
• barking dog complaints
• stray animal pickup
• wildlife animal management
• animal cruelty/neglect investigations
