Early morning home invasion being investigated

At approximately 04:35 this morning, Holland Police officers and medical personnel were dispatched to an apartment at the address of 461 Lincoln Ave on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Two occupants of one apartment had been assaulted by the suspects during the incident.
Officers arrived first and determined that the two suspects had already fled the area so Fire medical personnel and paramedics could treat the two victims. One of the two male victims of the assault was transported to Holland Community Hospital for contusions and lacerations. He was treated and later released. The other resident was treated for minor injuries onscene.
Police were advised by the victims that two dark complected males wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and bandanas broke into the apartment armed with a shotgun and both were assualted. No shots were fired during the assault but the suspects took one of the victim's wallet along with an X-Box gaming system. The suspect fled the apartment and it is believed they fled the area in an unknown make silver vehicle.
Holland Police are investigating the incident and would like to speak to anyone who may have information or who may have seen the suspects or the vehicle in the area.
