Community Development Committee
The purpose of the Community Development Committee is to consult with the community, identify community needs and recommend to City Council how the City should allocate the Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) to address those community needs.
To help develop viable communities by providing desirable living environments and expanding economic opportunities, the City of Holland works with the Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) Program, a federal grant program administered nationally by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The City of Holland, along with eligible outisde agencies, utilize these funds to further fulfill the City's goals and objectives of improving community housing, business environment, neighborhoods and public facilities.
