Holland Police arrested a man last evening after he fired several rounds outside of a residence in the 300 block of W 21st. The incident was originally reported by family members of the suspect around 10:00 p.m. who knew he was upset after finding out information about past domestic relationships. Police were responding to W 21st Street when additional callers on W 21st Street reported hearing gunshots.
The suspect, who was accompanied by a friend, drove to the residence on W 21st to confront the individual he believed was involved. The suspect approached the house and fired several rounds from a handgun into the ground while also breaking a front window of the house with a hammer. The suspect did not enter the house.
When police arrived the suspect was arrested and held on several charges that will be reviewed by the Ottawa County Prosecutor's office today.

Travis Zeerip was arraigned on Felonious Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Operating while Impaired and his bond was set at $10,000 cash/surety.
