TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2014-T-00014 Effective Date May 12 – June 2, 2014
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.) In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Beginning Monday, May 12, 2014, Columbia Avenue will be closed to traffic and parking between 10th & 12th Streets. At that time, Dan Hoe Excavating will be doing underground utility work for new construction in this area. This closure shouldn’t cause travel delays as motorists may simply detour via another north/south street.
Beginning Monday, May 19, 2014, Columbia Avenue will be closed to traffic and parking between 9th & 10th Streets. At that time a contractor for Hope College will be doing underground work for a steam line.
If work requires road to be closed past the dates stated on this notice the Contractor MUST call to request a revised Traffic Control Order.
The Contractor (Dan Hoe Excavating) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
If No Parking signs are needed the contractor should contact Holland Police Dept. to coordinate signage.
