Adult Softball Leagues
Coed and Men’s Summer & Fall Softball Leagues are offered in Holland at the Matt Urban Sports & Recreation Complex, Quincy Park & Helder Park. The City of Holland and Holland Charter Township have joined forces to offer the Holland Area softball players a great opportunity to play softball this summer. Information packets, which contains detailed information regarding leagues, is available for each team manager posted below. All payments will be to the City of Holland Recreation Department, 429 E. 24th St, Holland.
If you cannot field a whole team, call the Holland Recreation Division at 616-355-1130, to be placed on the "Free Agent" list.

New Coed 7-3 League
The New Coed 7-3 League is an option for teams that struggle to get one gender or the other to fill a whole team. So you could play with 7 males and 3 females minimum or vice versa. Other options for this league is 6-4 or 5-5 of each gender.
In 2017, Holland Area Softball will have every bat tested prior to its use in league play. Each bat will get an official decal or sticker attached to the bat for approval. There will be several dates available for teams to get their bats tested by Holland Area Softball.
The Holland Area Softball League Managers Meeting will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 7:00pm at the Holland Department of Public Safety, 89 W. 8th St, Holland. We hope that you can attend this meeting to discuss the upcoming season and go over rules, guidelines and other information for the league. At least one representative should attend per team.
Friday, April 14, 2017 at the New Recreation office: 429 E. 24th St, Holland, MI 49423. All registrations must be received by 5:00pm on this date to be registered for the summer softball league.
Umpires are needed for the success of the softball leagues. If you are interested in becoming an umpire, email the Recreation Department at email@example.com Trainings are starting in January & February. All umpires must be USA/ASA certified to work in the Holland Area Softball League. Umpires are paid $18-$20/game.
