Did you know when you flush your medications, it can cause pollution in the Great Lakes and contaminate water supplies.  By dropping off your unwanted or expired medications at the Holland Public Safety Department, you can help keep our lakes clean!

Project Pride is an opportunity for Holland City residents to dispose of items that are too large or not accepted during normal weekly curbside trash pick up. Residents may come to City Hall to request a voucher for a one-time load of miscellaneous items. (Maximum weight of 1/2 ton)

Yard Waste

Yard waste has been banned from landfills in MIchigan since 1995. Citizens are responsible for disposal of any yard waste produced on their property.  Composting and recycling are two options.
