TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER

Order No.  2014-T-00025                 Effective Date   June 24- Sept. 9, 2014 
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.) In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, thefollowing traffic regulations are issued:

08-26-14 UPDATE-
Watermain testing went longer than anticipated.  A milling machine should be on-site later this week with paving to follow shortly after that.  Contractor states the road will be reopened to traffic after the Labor Day Holiday; Sept. 9, 2014.

07-16-14 UPDATE -
Road remains closed to through traffic for bacteria testing to the new watermain.  Once that testing is completed, addtional work will be done for individual water services in the area.  It is hoped this work can be completed by July 31, 2014.

On Tuesday, June 24, 2014, Country Club Road will be completely closed to traffic starting at 7 a.m. between Birdie Lane and Legion Park Drive.  Road will remain closed through the evening of Thursday, July 31, 2014 until 7 p.m.  At that time a contractor will be continuing utility work to the former Country Club site; soon to be The Villa’s of Holland Residential Condominium’s.

Through traffic will be required to detour via Havard, Timberwood and Legion Park.

Special Instructions:
If work requires road to be closed past the dates stated on this notice the Contractor MUST call to request a revised Traffic Control Order.  The Contractor (Dan Hoe Excavating) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety.  Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
