The City of Holland is currently involved in a comprehensive update of its Stormwater Master Plan. The firm of Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber (FTC&H) has been retained by the City to assist in this effort. Work on the infrastructure assessment, the first of several phases of the study, is underway, along with the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. Future steps include the development of standards and ordinances, an operations and maintenance plan, design and construction specifications, and a long-range capital improvement plan. It is anticipated this master plan update will be completed in mid-2012, and will attempt to anticipate the community’s stormwater needs over a long-term (30+ year) period.
