TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2014-T-00032 Effective Date July 22 – 23, 2014
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Beginning Tuesday, July 22, 2014, West 16th Street will be closed to traffic between Homestead Avenue and South Shore Drive. At that time Board of Public Works crews will be repairing a large utility pole at their lift station; 531 South Shore Dr. Hours of closure will be approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. While work is projected to be completed in one day, it may stretch into 2 days based on weather conditions or other problems, with work continuing on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
Motorists must seek an alternate route around this work zone and plan their commutes accordingly.
If work requires road to be closed past the dates stated on this notice the Contractor MUST call to request a revised Traffic Control Order.
The Contractor (Holland B.P.W.) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
