The Holland Community Sustainability Committee will host a public presentation regarding the Community Energy Plan (CEP) during its regular meeting scheduled for 6:00 PM on Monday September 19 in the City Council Chambers of Holland City Hall located at 270 S River Avenue. The CEP consultant (*Peter Garforth) will provide an in depth review of the Plan for everyone in attendance. Comments from the public regarding the CEP will be limited during this meeting as the bulk of the meeting will be reserved for the presentation and a Q & A session from Committee members. The Committee anticipates receiving the CEP and taking it under advisement for further study and review during future public Committee meetings.
On Tuesday September 20, the Holland Community Sustainability Committee will host a Town Hall meeting scheduled for 6:30 PM regarding the Community Energy Plan in the City Council Chambers. The CEP consultant will provide a brief overview of the Plan, and the bulk of the meeting will be reserved for comments and questions from the public.

*Peter Garforth, an international energy planning consultant has been retained by the City of Holland and the Holland Board of Public Works to help the community prepare a community energy efficiency and conservation strategy.
