An estimated 2,500 people attended the first annual International Festival of Holland on August 17, 2019. The day began with a rededication of the Queretaro Fountain in Kollen Park, a gift from our sister city Santiago de Queretaro, Mexico and we were pleased to have the mayor of Queetaro and the fountain architect join us for the rededication.
The festivities moved to the Civic Center Place where 11 performers shared music and dance from around the world. The Children's Fiesta offered kids the opportunity to explore different types of global art and get their own Festival passport. The Festival Mercado (marketplace) offered a taste of international cuisine and hard goods.
The 2020 International Festival of Holland is scheduled for August 15, 2020.
The International Festival of Holland is a great opportunity for local businesses to show their support of community programs that connect Holland residents with cultures from across the globe. Sponsorship opportunities for the 2020 festival will be made available soon.
