TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2022-T-000019 Effective Date May 30 – August 12, 2022
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
The following information is being shared on behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation -
MDOT is getting ready to start work on repairs to the bridge that carries M-40 traffic over I-196 on the south side of Holland. While this is an MDOT project, the city is trying to help get the word out about the project.
Work will start right after Memorial Day. Employers in the area should alert their employees who commute through the M-40/I-196 interchange to seek an alternate route.
Staging Schedule* -
Stage 1 – Single lane controlled by temporary traffic signals - 5/31 – 7/1
Stage 2 – 1 lane for each direction of traffic – 7/5 – 8/12
Stage 3 – Single lane closure on I-196 – 6/1 – 8/12
