TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2022-T-000030 Effective Date Aug. 29th - Sept. 2nd , 2022
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Beginning Monday, Aug 29th, 2022 at 6:00am Northbound and Southbound lanes on US 31 between 24th St and 32nd St will be closed to thru traffic.
Road closures are needed as C.S.X. Railroad will be in Holland removing and rebuilding the railroad crossing. Work is expected to be complete in 7 days by Sept. 2nd, 2022. These dates are weather dependent and subject to change.
These closures will cause significant travel delays as all motorists will be required to follow the posted detour routes. Motorists should plan their travel routes accordingly.
Special Instructions –
The Contractor (C.S.X. Railroad) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
