CITY OF HOLLAND
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2020-T-00005 Effective Date March 23 – October 30, 2020
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, the Board of Public Works will start construction work in the following locations –
20th Street; Michigan to Maple Avenues – BPW Watermain and Service Replacements.
08-03-2020 UPDATE _
Effective beginning Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Pine Avenue will be completely closed to traffic at 20th Street. BPW will begin underground utility work here requiring a complete closure until approximately 6 weeks until Sept. 14, 2020.
21st Street; Ottawa to Van Raalte Avenues – BPW Watermain and Service Replacements.
Cleveland Avenue; 19th – 22nd Streets – City to replace storm sewer lines and basins.
During construction work, these areas will be closed to all through traffic.
Residents will have daily access to and from their homes.

Special Instructions –
The Contractor (Brenner Excavating) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
