10th St Construction Update

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2021-T-000015 Effective Date October 6 – November. 30, 2021
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Effective on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, Washington Blvd. will be closed to all traffic at 10th Street for continued work on the 10th Street Road Reconstruction between River Ave. and Washington Blvd. This road closure may cause travel delays to local motorists. Commuter’s should add extra time for their normal travels as they will have to follow the posted detour.
This work will be done in Three (3) phases as follows –
Phase 1 - 10th St.; Lincoln to College Ave. including work on Columbia & College; Complete;
Phase 2 – 10th St.; College Ave. to Central Ave.; Complete;
Phase 3 – 10th St.; Central Ave. to Pine Ave.; Complete by Mid-October
Phase 4 - 10th St; Pine to Washington Ave.; Complete by Mid-November
*Schedules are subject to change based on weather or underground conditions upon excavation.
Special Instructions –
The Contractor (Kamminga & Roodvoets) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
