The Holland Department of Public Safety Police Services Division is accepting applications for the position of Reserve Police Officer.
The Reserve Officer Program operates as part of the patrol division within the Holland Department of Public Safety. Some of the events Reserve Officers handle are paid details, other department duties are done on a volunteer basis.
Reserve Officer duties include riding with full time police officers, park patrol, assisting at critical incidents, working special events such as sporting events, concerts and Tulip Time as well as a variety of other duties. The Reserve Officer program is not a path to becoming a full time officer but rather assists full time staff in fulfilling the mission of the department.
