Grab a cup of hot chocolate and celebrate winter at Holland Energy Park's Visitor Center. Students and families are invited to see our Visitor Center Energy Alley. The Visitor Center is a museum-style exhibit space where guests can learn about energy, electricity, and Holland's power plant. Registration is required. This free event is open to the public and geared towards families and students grades K-12.
In addition to the Visitor Center, there will be activity and craft stations, snacks, and hot chocolate. We will also have special guests in attendance for students, including:
- Holland Public Schools
- Outdoor Discovery Center: weather permitting, we will have several sets of adult and child size snow shoes available to use along our 3/4 mile trail
- Windmill Island Gardens: learn more about summer seasonal jobs at Windmill Island
- Holland Recreation: find out more about upcoming recreation programs
