This past Saturday night, November 30, at about 11:15 p.m. Officers of the Holland Department of Public Safety responded to a residence in the 300 block of W 19th for a report of a possible drive-by shooting.
The homeowner reported he was home and heard two or three “pops” outside which he believed were likely gunshots. He exited the house and located holes in the siding of the house which appeared to be from the gunshots at the residence.
Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle was described as possibly being a mid-2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
No one was injured as a result of the incident, which has been assigned to Detectives of the HDPS for further investigation.
