The Outdoor Warning Sirens will be tested monthly beginning on Friday, April 4, at noon. From that date through October, they will sound at noon on the first Friday of each month. The sirens notify residents of any emergency situation.
- Monthly testing happens every first Friday of the month, beginning in April and concluding in October.
- The purpose of the sirens is to notify residents of any emergency situation.
- The sirens will sound for the following conditions:
- Sustained Winds of 70 Miles Per Hour or More
- Tornado Warning
- They may also be activated to notify an area that a hazardous material incident has occurred.
