COVID-19 Specific City Impact

COVID-19 City Image

To slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of Holland has altered operations to focus on essential services only. We are asking the public to conduct business with the City via phone, email or the Internet.

Essential services include fire, police, utility services, parks, refuse and recycling collection, and City Council meetings.

City Council meetings will be held in Council Chambers and have been reconfigured to ensure social distancing among members. The public is strongly encouraged to watch the meetings on local cable channels, or on the City’s YouTube channel. To make a public comment for a City Council, email your comment to

The City is canceling or postponing large pubic events, recreational events and community programs sponsored by the City until further notice to align with the orders of Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The City will post updates on impacts to City services HERE.
