This morning shortly before 2:00 a.m. officers and fire fighters of the Holland Department Safety responded to a residence in the 100 block of East 17th St. for a report of a suicide. Officers located the victim, a 17-year-old male deceased in the residence.
The incident is being treated as suspicious in nature due to numerous individuals being present in the home at the time. The incident remains under investigation.
