History

The site was built in 1994 and was originally called the 32nd Street Sports and Recreation Complex. In September 14, 1996 the facility’s name was change to the Matt Urban Complex to honor Matt Urban, City of Holland’s Recreation Coordinator, who was the most decorated U.S. solider in World War II.


Amenities

Matt Urban Sports Complex has four softball fields, soccer field, two basketball courts and two sand volleyball courts, all lighted. This park is highly programmed and provides an area for tournament games. In shelters, a restroom/concession building and parking.
