  3. Skip the Straw Day

    Holland Youth Advisory Council’s (HYAC) Environmental Committee is partnering with 8th Street restaurants in downtown Holland to skip the straw on National Skip the Straw Day which is Friday, February 24th. On that day, participating restaurants will not serve plastic straws to their customers unless asked. Hopefully, this will bring awareness to straw pollution and the threat that plastic has on our environment. One conscious act can make a difference.
