TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER
Order No. 2025-T-000022 Effective Date June 23, 2025 – June 27, 2025
(when official traffic control signs or devices conforming to this order are erected.)
In accordance with Section 18-16 of the Holland City Code, the following traffic regulations are issued:
Effective Monday June 23rd, 2025, South Shore Drive, between Thomas & Diekema Avenues, will be closed to all thru traffic, At this time, a third party contractor will be making a road cut to install underground utilities in the area. Work is expected to be completed by June 27th, 2025 at 5 pm.
This road closure will cause travel disruptions and motorists will be required to follow the detour. The detour route will be posted for both North and Southbound traffic. Access for emergency vehicles and local traffic will be maintained with contractor coordination.
Date and time of this project are subject to change depending on weather and other factors.
Special Instructions –
The Contractor (Gebben’s Excavating) will setup and maintain all barricades, signs and warning devices as deemed necessary to assure public safety. Contractor must follow guidelines for road closures or lane closures as set forth in the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices.
