We are always hiring at Windmill Island Gardens!

Windmill Island Gardens is a beautiful Dutch-historical park in downtown Holland featuring an original working Dutch windmill named "De Zwaan" imported from the Netherlands in 1964, as well as many other Dutch-related attractions including 30+ acres of flowers and plantings that bloom throughout our season from mid-April to mid-October. As we welcome over 125,000 visitors each year, it takes dozens of team members in a variety of areas to provide a great  visitor experience.


Mill Operator: These individuals are trained to operate our historic windmill which continues to grind grain for our community and visitors. If you are interested in this opportunity, you can find more details HERE.

Grounds & Events Set Up Lead: Oversee the setup and takedown for hosted events (weddings, etc.) Additional work on the grounds available as desired. More details HERE.

Facility Attendant: Interested in hospitality? This position is responsible for making sure weddings and other events at the Island run smoothly. A great supplement to another job as most of the work is evenings & weekends. Find out more information HERE.

Custodial: Assists with overnight cleaning of our facilities a few nights a week. Please click HERE.

Grounds Crew: Assist in opening and closing the park, help maintain the grounds (flowers, turf, etc.) and other outdoor work. More information HERE.


Windmill Attendant:  Welcomes our visitors and answers questions about the historic Dutch Windmill, De Zwaan.

Greeter: Greets visitors upon arrival, showcases the Amsterdam Street Organ and runs the Children’s carousel.
