Devin Shea is a native of Holland and a graduate of West Ottawa Public Schools. After finishing high school, he moved to Utah to enjoy the mountains and skiing. While there, he worked at ski resorts and on film and photography sets while studying at Salt Lake Community College. Later, he developed an interest in agriculture and studied cattle and soil science at Michigan State University. After completing his studies, he returned to the American West to manage beef and cattle operations. In 2016, Devin moved back to Michigan and met his now-wife, Sarah Shea. As they established themselves in Holland, Devin started a small business and invested in the City.
Devin is an active member in the community, attending open meetings and designing charrettes for various organizations. He is also a member of the Grace Episcopal Church and has previously served on the City's Zoning Board of Appeals. Devin is committed to the betterment of the community and strives to ensure that the good work in the Council Chambers is carried out. He is looking forward to representing the Sixth Ward for the first time in his upcoming term.
